The Hammer is the first member of MAL's ForceForge series of heavy
autoloaders. It was designed with the heavy 12mm round in mind and
it's purpose was to create the ideal heavy sidearm for security
or military purposes. Only a few months after it's introduction
to the market, the Hammer enjoyed a growing demand by exactly the
customers it was primarily designed for.
Despite it's heavy slug MAL did a good job of reducing the recoil
of the weapon by integrating a GasVent recoil reduction system
directly into the slide of the weapon. However this internal recoil
reduction makes it unable to fit further reduction systems onto
the weapon.
The Hammer features and external safety, making it a reasonably
secure weapon. During the first stages of design MAL opted for an
internal safety, but the concept was dropped in the later stages
of design work, as an increasing number of accidental deaths was
reported in conjunction with the FEN 604 pistol, which features
an internal safety.
The Hammer accepts one underbarrel option like a laser painter
and Folding Stocks can also be fitted to the weapon, but are not
included in the package.

The Driller is the follow-up model to the Hammer and it is basically
the same design like it's predecessor, but it's rate of fire was
increased, making it the first rapid fire autoloader of the World
of Progress that is still a pistol and not a SMG. However, due to
cooling issues the Jackhammer cannot sustain that rate of fire over
an extended period of time.
Yet there is another drawback - the autofire takes up space that
the GasVent system requires. This forced MAL to reduce the
size of the inbuilt recoil reduction system, increasing the already
heavy recoil of the weapon. As with the hammer, an external recoil
reduction system cannot be fitted.
The Driller features an extended magazine, holding 15 rounds. Like
the Hammer, the Driller accepts one underbarrel option and it can
also be fitted with Folding Stocks and the Hardware 908 firing range
crew heavily suggests doing so.
When a silencer is to be fitted to the Driller, however, it must
be one of MAL specifically Jackhammer designed silencers. These
silencers can be obtained directly from MAL at a cost of 7.5 Credits.

The Anvil is MAL latest addition to the ForceForge series of heavy
autoloaders and it packs the extra heavy 12.7mm slug. The Anvil
is - like the Hammer - a semi-automatic weapon.
As can be expected from such a high calibre weapon, the Anvil has
an extreme recoil and although MAL has gone to great lengths to
lessen the weapon's kickback, it is still roughly equal to the Jackhammer's
recoil. Furthermore, as our test crew found out, the Anvil is susceptible
to jamming due to overheating when used in a continuous fire situation.
Like it's brethren, the Anvil features an external safety switch
and no recoil baffling can be added externally.
An underbarrel laser painter is optional and either a flash suppressor
or a silencer can be added.

The Predator is the first of MAL's foray into the submachinegun
market and it uses a heavy 12mm round. The Predator is a bulpup
configuration and this allows a high ammunition capacity for a weapon
of this calibre.
Despite the heavy slug, the Predator is a very stable and accurate
weapon, also when firing in burst mode and the overheating/jamming
problem has been solved to a full extent by MAL.
With this weapon MAL again confirms it's position as the prime
provider for weapons designed for military and operative operations.
The Predator has an external safety and it accepts one underbarrel
option and either silencer or flash suppressor. The silencer, however,
must be one of MAL's special ForceForge silencers, available directly
from MAL at a price of 7.5 credits.
The Predator cannot be further upgraded with recoil baffling as
it uses MAL's own internal GasVent recoil system. It comes
equipped with a telescopic folding stock.

The Punisher series is the follow-up model of the Predator and
it was designed for NukeTendon fitted or DeathSquad operatives.
It is a bulpup SMG that uses the heavy 12.7mm slug and comes in
two varieties. The Punisher I can be used in either semi-, burst
and full-auto modes, but the Punisher II can be used in burst and
full-auto only mode and as such is an ideal choice for situations
where ammo as well as collateral damage is of no concern. (Our firing
range test crew took such liking to the blast-away fire mode of
the Punisher II that they laid waste to one quarter of the Hardware
live fire arena - when you lay your hands on one of those fine babies
expect major rock and roll!)
As the Punisher II's increased firing rate also requires more ammunition
MAL provides it with an extended clip and a MegaClip that accepts
50 rounds is available from MAL shortly.
Both the Punisher I and II can accept one overbarrel option like
sights as well as one underbarrel option, like a laser painter.
The Punisher II comes already equipped with an internal laser painter
and as such can accept another underbarrel option, like e.g. a flashlight.
Both versions accept silencers (but only MAL's own ForceForge
silencers) or flash suppressors and the Punisher I comes with a
optional flash suppressor already installed externally. Both weapons
can be equipped with telescopic stocks.

The Reaper is FEN's first exploration into the heavy pistol market
and the company tries to follow-up it's 603 10mm design. Having
stronger, Nuke Tendon-boosted operatives in mind, FEN wants to make
the 066 Reaper the standard weapon for a new decade.
The FEN 066 is designed as a direct competitor to MAL's heavy autoloaders,
especially the Anvil, and with it's range of accessories, the Reaper
might be indeed such a contender.
The Reaper can be equipped with a full range of overbarrel mounted
accessories such as sights, and a silencer or flash suppressor can
also be added. The weapon can furthermore be boosted with a level
one recoil baffling but our technical crew found out that higher
recoil baffling can be added. However the two year guarantee that
FEN gives on this weapon is forfeit if you tinker with the weapon
in such a way and we should remind you that such tinkering can only
be underdone by SLA Industries licensed modification shop's like
Phase Inc. or Bloodshed Ltd. - the Hardware magazine's modshop of
choice.
The Reaper comes already equipped with an underbarrel laser painter
and so there is no place for another underbarrel accessory, but
FEN astounded our testers by providing the weapon with a slide accessory
option. This lets you mount standard accessories to the Reaper's
slide. Needless to say this unbalances the weapon and it requires
practice to score a hit with a weapon equipped this way.
After weeks of training our test crews adjusted themselves to a
slide option, but they advise not to use this slide feature and
if absolutely neccessary only to install a small and light flashlight.
However, be reminded that you need Magplate holsters if you want
to store a slide-option equipped weapon as it won't fit into any
holster anymore!

Designed especially after the demands of opertives and Contract
Killers who wanted a light autoloader with no or little recoil,
MAL designed the Nemesis around the 10mm round.
The Nemesis is designed primarily from polymeric plastic materials,
only the barrel, hammer and some springs are still made out of metal,
making the Nemesis a lightweigt pistol.
The Nemesis comes with no external safety and has only an internal
trigger safety, which makes it a deadly weapon for the untrained
- once loaded the weapon is ready to fire. The trigger is soft and
ideal for increased firing speed. When reloading the weapon automatically
disengages the slide lock, closing the breech, chambering the round
and cocking the hammer in one automatic process.
MAL has gone to great lenghts to decrease the recoil of the Nemesis
to such a degree that it is almost non-existant. This, combined
with the soft trigger makes the Nemesis the fastest firing weapon
on the market. Now, if you are trained and quick, you can actually
squeeze out five rounds per second and feel almost no recoil!
The only drawback is that the Nemesis accepts only one underbarrel
option - thus you can choose either to install a flashlight or a
laser painter. No overbarrel options are possible and the muzzle
accepts either silencer or flash suppressor. Yet, MAL has introduced
an interesting weapon that shows that even medium sized pistols
are not to be underestimated.
