As stated in the MRB, two types of Frothers exist. The first group consists of civilian drug addicts which are recruited by SLA Industries to work as Ops for the company. The second comprises of Clan Frothers, people who have, in one way or another, been exposed to drugs for a long time because chemical substances are a vital part of their social group's way of life. While the former group will be dealt with only briefly here, the latter will be described more thoroughly.
